The next few weeks are gonna be a lot of fun... NOT.
Double IV treatment tomorrow, chemo is ongoing on a daily basis and going relatively well with a reduced dosage. Monday morning I have two scans scheduled (PET and CT), then start five days of radiation therapy on my pelvis to help with pain management and, God willing, it might break down some of the tumors as well.
I've no idea what the new scans will show, it's always like going in for an exam you didn't really study for and hoping for a good grade but deep down you prepare yourself mentally to be let down, cuz it's easier to be relieved than it is to be disappointed. At least that's how my brain works.
Radiation treatments make me quite sick for about two weeks, but who knows maybe it'll be different this time (new protocol, new hospital, new oncologist).
So in order to relax, I doodle now:
Reminds me of drunken spirograph!
Anyways, that's life these days. Went for an acupuncture treatment today and the roads were white-out condition, it was a bit thrilling to be back driving on soap with quasi-zero visibility! Gets the mojo going. Luckily it wasn't far and I was so happy to come home to cozy blankets, a fried egg on toast and a hot cuppa tea.
I think I'll try making onion soup now, I have a craving.
Wish me luck!
